Google GMS, Google Mobile Services, which is a testing standard for testing mainly the software standard. Part of the testing patch are CTS(the third party solution allowing the smart phone SOFTWARE to enter the China Mainland mobile service operator's service), CTA(the third party solution allowing the smart phone HARDWARE to enter the China Mainland mobile service operator's service), GTS, etc. Which means the previous GMS Express based on CTS test for any other APP + Google APP, and the GTS test for purely all Android Google APP, and combined together to be that GMS Express, where the manufacturers are responsible for updating the Google Packages.

Since one small order like 5K, the 3PL testing can be around USD1,000 - USD2,000, so, on average, the cost is quite high to have the testing per order. And when use of GMS Express Plus, Google would fix that cost, which is very attractive to use so and actively promote the GMS Express Plus. Currently, there are 4 3PL firms that recognized from Google, one of them is MTK, after passed all necessary testing procedure, get that 3PL to delivery the phone say as Google-Legally delivery to the market and get the OTA from Google. That Google police is quite powerful and helpful, when any manufacturers ever pass the CTS & GTS & any Google security patch, it's an fatal important to keep the running of the smart phone business.
